Yes it was good! Yes. It is great. Absolutely. The voice actor for Chloe in before the storm did a pretty good job imo. If you enjoyed the original LIS then it’s worth a shot. And if you don’t like the game at least it’s only 3 episodes. That’s not the case with the Life is Strange Remastered Collection. The good news is that these are still mostly excellent games. As someone going through the full games for the first time, both of the Life is Strange titles here provide excellent stories, great characters, and a fully realized world to explore. I love the first three games and I absolutely love True Colors. I definitely think it’s worth it. In part this is because Life is Strange suffers from the old adventure game problem of having to battle the designer’s frequently impenetrable logic. You never know exactly what you have to do on your first attempt in any given scenario, and thus find yourself constantly rewinding to try again despite the visual cues designed to help. The voice work in life is strange is incredible. That’s what’s gonna reel you in. The visuals were never particularly high quality or refined because of the very specific artstyle. The remaster tries to look like the modern day life is strange games while trying not to divert too much from the original style and it just doesn’t work.
