Consider visiting Eskisehir, Istanbul, Pammukale, Antalya and Cappadocia for a safe trip. Be in public places only. Don’t roam around the Taksim Square in Istanbul till late. Consider travelling via trams, metros, buses, trains and minivans that carry more passengers. Carry a pepper spray ; Don’t be roaming around till midnight.

Antalya is pretty small, so you’ll be able to walk around the city centre to see most of the main sites. If you want to travel further afield, local taxis are easy to find and pretty cheap. I think Uber have some presence in Antalya now, but most people would just grab a taxi off the street.
